In glass production in general, the wear rate is increasing more
and more due to the constantly growing proportion of cullet in
batch preparation. EURODUR® Surface Care surfaces offer
a resource-saving solution that works to ensure that plant
components such as mixing and shredding tools and conveyor
systems work reliably and downtime is minimised.
With our customised special alloy EURODUR® 1680N, we have developed a solution specifically for flat glass production that offers reliable protection against undesirable nickel sulphide inclusions
thanks to a high proportion of chromium, silicon and boron in combination with a nickel content of 0.04 %.
